LEARN ABOUT OUR KOSHER CANNABIS

WHAT IS LIGHT DEP GREENHOUSE?

Light Deprivation Cultivation (or Light Dep for short) is a popular cannabis cultivation technique that can be used to force cannabis plants to flower much sooner than they naturally would. Light Dep Cultivation is accomplished by simulating a 12-hour light and a 12-hour dark period, often using a greenhouse and shade cloth strategically placed at the proper time. Cannabis plants normally begin to flower at a particular time of year, and this process essentially tricks cannabis plants into entering their flowering state at a desired time instead of needing to wait for the right date. This results in the ability to have multiple harvests per year, rather than just one!

WHAT IS KOSHER CANNABIS?

For a product to be kosher certified, and to qualify for a kosher certificate, each ingredient, food additive and processing aid used in its production must also be kosher. Additionally, to be kosher certified, the production process must be suitable for kosher requirements and therefore it must approved by a kosher auditor. Our farm is regularly visited and inspected at random by a rabbi, who ensures that our growing and manufacturing processes and the farm premises meet the necessary Kosher standards.

LIVING SOIL

As microorganisms go about their job breaking down plant debris and processing organic matter, they also excrete dead microbial cells which contribute to the soil's structure. Cannabis grown in living soil produces healthier, higher-yielding crops.

WHAT IS BHO?

Butane Hash Oil (BHO) is a cannabis extract produced using Butane as the primary solvent during the extraction process. BHO is most commonly referred by its initials, and can come in a variety of different consistencies, including badder, crumble, sauce, and others. As with any concentrate, both the quality of the starting flower and the purity of the final product is what separates a high quality BHO from one that consumers will steer clear of.

WHAT IS SHO?

Solventless Hash Oil (SHO) is a cannabis extract which has been extracted through mechanical means, without the use of solvents, such as Butane. Solventless hash has a rich and storied background and has been made using a variety of methods across the world for centuries. Some varieties of SHO include rosins, water hash, and dry sift, among others. Just like other concentrates, the quality of the flower used in the manufacturing process, as well as the purity of the finished product will be what separates a great SHO from a lesser quality one.
